CHAPTER 6

The days passed in a blur. Emmy could only guess how much time went by based on her visits from Dr. Radcliff. When he showed up, she knew it was either morning or evening. In between, she began to accept this new existence. In a way, he was right. It was freeing. She didn’t have to worry about finding something to eat or staying warm on the streets. Every time she awoke, she was more relaxed in her new environment than the previous time. It was growing on her. And when she felt the thick absorbent material between her legs, her nipples stiffened. Her mind had begun to associate having her diaper changed with pleasure.

The formula wasn’t the best-tasting substance on the planet, but it was okay, and it nourished her. She was never hungry. If anything, it usually seemed like too much. She was never dressed in more than her diaper and a T-shirt, but the room was warm. She never felt a chill.

Either Nurse Kay or Nurse Theo usually came into her room each time she woke up. They were always smiling and kind. Sometimes they had to press on her bladder to get her to finish emptying it, but then they changed her, fed her, and put her back in the crib.

She always got excited when she opened her eyes to find Dr. Radcliff in her nursery. She could also tell if it was evening because he stayed longer. He always started by removing her diaper, wiping her bottom clean, and playing with her clit until she reached orgasm.

It pleased him. She knew he enjoyed watching her come. She certainly couldn’t complain. Afterward, he held her in his arms and rocked her, talking to her about his future plans for her. The nursery he was having fixed up in his home. The toys he’d bought her.

He also described his home in detail, including the backyard with a swing and a pool. He spoke of the dresses and onesies and jammies he’d ordered in her size.

Nurse Kay had removed the constricting mittens from her hands several days ago after giving her a strict lecture to ensure she understood that if she tried to remove her diaper, the mittens would go right back on.

She was glad to have her fingers free, and she loved when Dr. Radcliff held her hand in his, stroking her knuckles and palm absentmindedly. No way would she risk being able to touch him like this by trying to take off her diapers.

She couldn’t wait to go home with him. “How much longer do I have to stay here in The Center?” she asked one night while he was rocking her.

He tapped her nose. “It’s only been a week, baby girl. You’re stronger now though. Healthier than you were when I picked you up. I think it’s time for you to start adjusting to being awake more often. Would you like that?”

She nodded and wrapped her arm around him as best she could. “I’m a good girl,” she told him, and she meant it.
